THE AUDITION PROCEDURE FOR CLASS ENTERING IN THE FALL OF 2013

MFA Acting Program
We will begin accepting Applications in the fall of 2012 for auditions in January-February of 2013.  These auditions are for the class entering in the fall of 2013. 

We ask you to fill out the application form for the MFA Program and submit the Application with:

• Letter of Intent (describing why Case's program interests you) and what your objectives in training
• Three Letters of Recommendation from former directors and/or Theater teachers
• Two copies of Headshots and Resumes.

The Audition
We ask you to prepare two contrasting pieces (one Modern, one Shakespearean Verse) with a combined time of no more than 3 minutes in length.

While we do accept videotape auditions, they are not encouraged. Only applicants for whom travel to one of the regular audition sites is not possible should consider submitting DVDs. DVD returns are not guaranteed. The content of the DVD audition should be exactly the same as for an audition in person.

Financial Aid Information
The Case-Cleveland Play House provides each graduate student with complete financial support. The full financial package (which includes full Case tuition waiver) totals $39,100, and includes a stipend of approximately $12,500 per academic year.

The application deadline for the MFA Acting program is two weeks prior to the city/date you have chosen for your audition.
