Auditions for the fall semester productions at CWRU’s Eldred Theater will be held September 2^nd and 3^rd from 6-8.30 p.m. in Eldred Theater. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the Eldred Theater lounge at the beginning of the semester. The auditions are open to the university community.

This fall’s productions are Waiting for Lefty by Clifford Odets, and The 25^th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, book by Rachel Sheinkin and music and lyrics by William Finn. Theater majors are expected to have a monologue of no longer than two minutes, and people interested in auditioning for The 25^th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee should prepare 16 bars of music: an accompanist will be present. Non-majors will be provided sides at the audition and may be asked to sing acapella.
