WHO? Open to all members of the CWRU community: undergraduates, graduates, staff and faculty!
HOW? Sign-up sheets will be posted in Eldred’s 1st floor Gallery a few weeks before auditions. Please sign-up in advance for an audition time.
WHAT? Theater majors: a 2 minutes or less monologue is required, and preferred for non-majors. Sides will be available at the auditions for those who do not have a prepared monologue. In addition (to be considered for a role in Cry-Baby): Prepare a one minute long (16 bars or slightly longer) cutting of a song in either a 1950’s rock/rockabilly style or a selection from a classic 1940’s or 50’s musical. A comedic piece is preferred. If choosing a “rock” number, it does not have to come from a musical, but it should be “actable”. An accompanist will be present and actors should provide their own sheet music.
